As active social media users, the team at HealingRadius cannot deny the advantages of Instagram. I mean, what better way to keep up with our favorite health and wellness enthusiasts than viewing real-time posts of their eye-catching meals, workout routines, DIY beauty tricks, and most importantly, steps to live a more holistic lifestyle. With that said, we decided to let you inside our daily routine of scrolling through the profiles of Shiva Rose, Serena Wolf, and Teresa Howes—all mentors, guides, and teachers in the world of wellness.
A naturalist and activist of healthy, green living, Shiva Rose of the Local Rose blog is one of our favorite Instagrammers for a number of reasons. For one, she fits into HealingRadius’ perception of what a holistic lifestyle is all about, and in doing so, she creates all-natural, non-toxic beauty products from botanicals and provides organic tips on food, skin care, fashion, and the home. Her Instagram posts include moving quotes, delicious and uplifting recipes, beauty rituals, the benefits and uses of crystals, and health hacks to boost the immune system and prevent aging. But Instagram is not her only avenue to make a difference in the world. Beyond her website and other social media platforms, she’s been featured in top publications like Vogue, Allure, Lucky, the Huffington Post, and MindBodyGreen. Trust us—she’s got it going on!
Chef blogger Serena Wolf of the Domesticate Me! blog is our go-to when it comes to finding nutrition-packed recipes that are enjoyable and practicable, as well as general tips for domestic success. It started on her pursuit to become domesticated some time after graduating from Harvard University in 2009. She moved to Paris and attended Le Cordon Bleu in August of 2010, graduating in November of 2011, and has cooked, baked, entertained, and helped others in their own pursuit of domestic living ever since. During her professional career thus far, she has served as a private chef, culinary instructor, freelance writer, and recipe developer, only making her Instagram posts that much more special. They include smoothie bowls, healthy cocktails, brunch items, Sunday Funday snacks, and many, many more ways that we can achieve clean (but fun) eating.
Published author, certified personal trainer, nutrition and wellness coach, and sole lifestyle blogger for Eat, Drink and Be Skinny, Teresa Howes is nothing short of an inspiration for her readers and followers like us at HealingRadius. We featured her as a guest blogger back in November and have been keeping up with her ever since. @eatdrinkbskinny’s posts include clean and colorful vegetables, healthy recipes, travel adventures, and our favorite, pictures when she’s all geared up for the perfect run in some pretty gorgeous places (which makes us want to lace up our sneakers, like, now.) Her expertise and enthusiasm have taken her far and wide, including the top online publications like Health.com, Active.com, and POPSUGAR Fitness.
And if you don’t already follow them, you definitely should! Also—what are your favorite healthy Instagrammers? Tell us in the comment section below!
